Welcome to the Church in the Village

When I first was called to serve the Church in 2011 I felt as if I was coming home.

It is this sense of home we strive to foster in our worship and in all we do.  We recognize we are not always perfect but we rely on God's grace and Spirit to help us and

all who gather with us to walk the journey of faith,

grow in relationship with God and with one another,

all the while seeking to serve the community, near and far.

I am grateful our past informs our present and our faith allows us to look to the future.

Here are some ways we seek to walk in the ways of Jesus...

Over 300 years of service

The Congregational Church of North Stonington, United Church of Christ celebrated our 300th Anniversary

in 2021.  Building on our rich history, relying on the grace of God, and living our growing faith into the future, we value each person's individuality and do our best to help each one find their place in the community of faith.

Mission and Outreach

Like those who came before us, we continue our support of Church World Service's programs of outreach around the world.

  Like the 140 school kits and bags (right);

blankets in times of disaster; or tools to rebuild,

we find ways every month to make a difference.

We support the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, the Mystic Area Ecumenical Council's food and

gas assistance, town events and programs as well as the day programs of HELO Haiti, Habitat for Humanity and so much more.   Come join us!
